To be very honest I never had two different models of the same
manufacturer to try them out.

Yes I've been trying to build a multichannel ingest system on a
single computer for a couple of years now.

Does it need to be two different manufacturers? Or will two
different model #s work on the same computer, e.g. a Canopus ADVC
110 with a model 55 on a single computer?
