Mark,
Feed the value into a queue. It will store the value once per frame, so if
the composition runs at 30fps and you set the queue length to 300, it will
store 10seconds worth of values. Then just use the Structure Index patch to
pull out values - set the index to 30 for 1s delay, 150 for 5s delay etc.
