Hi, Thank you for that patch, It looks like it is going to solve my problem, however, I can't get compositions dropped into keynote to use patches downloaded separately (like the kineme patches .plugin files) – when I drop the file into Keynote those patches just seem not to work.
– maybe it's related to where I placed those .plugin files? I placed them at /Library/Graphics/Quartz Composer Patches Thanks again, Guy www.meetgooya.com On Sun, Aug 30, 2009 at 5:28 AM, Christopher Wright <[email protected]>wrote: > I'm trying to place a composition that includes graphics that change >> according to audio input, in a Keynote presentation, >> the composition itself seems to work but it does not react to any sound - >> which probably means it's not receiving any input sound. >> > > Nope -- check Console.app -- My money's on your problem being safe mode. > Specifically, the audio input patch doesn't work in Safe Mode, and keynote > likely loads safe-mode only patches. > > This composition is crucial for my presentation, as well as the sound >> input reaction in it, I'm wondering >> - is there any way around it? >> > > > At kineme.net, we've developed a way to work around this safemode > limitation.
