Really though, 8.5% CPU usage isn't a lot. You shouldn't worry about it unless you're writing something where performance is really critical, or it's hitting 100% and running slowly.
Since Conjure users might be running multiple QCs on multiple spaces simultaneously, this can add up. And on MacBooks and MBPs, this can cause unwanted battery drain. But in my case, I want the animations in Conjure to take precedence over the QCs, which are generally slow moving backdrops. I'm not doing anything in the backdrops that require fluid or even moderately fast speed.
