I am definitely sorry if it was unclear. I attached the only pertinent info I had. The only steps I need to reproduce are exactly as I describe in the report... Highlight text, then hit delete. I didn't have to get so far as entering code, so there was no code to include.
Simply deleting the code is making QC crash for me sometimes, causing a graphics glitch on the left side of the Settings window others, and sometimes doing nothing and acting correctly. I don't get anything pertinent in Console, save for "QC crash detected: signal 10". My apologies for not including that information.
