Is there any way to induce QC to use images with signed float pixels?
It's possible with a Core Image filter:
Negative Pixels.qtz
Description: application/quartzcomposer
This works on Leopard too.Out of the box, there aren't many file formats that support floating point pixels at all, and those that do may complain/not support negative pixels. I've not tried though, so perhaps they're completely ok.
