So, trying to make progress on my video processor app, I've run into a snag.

I want to provide the composition with an NSImage which is the current frame,
and the current frame time, and let it render an overlay. But I can't see how
to give an image to the composition that I'm rendering in the QCRenderer
object. There's stuff in the docs about binding published inputs to controls,
but that's not really what I want.

Am I just overlooking something obvious?
