That attached comp works fine for me. I get what I expect. Maybe you have an 
older set of Blurs installed ?

(RII / OpenGL handling changed in 10.6 (uses a slightly different code path as 
far as I can tell) and more OpenGL state needed to be tracked and reset to 
accommodate the changes, thus an update was released).
