"Inconsistent State" is a blanket statement for "Something Went Wrong". It's not particularly useful (and QC's use of exceptions instead of NSErrors is pretty frustrating), but usually they're rare enough or easy enough to debug (NSLog(@"filename:%@", filename);) that it's no big deal. There are other more informative errors when dealing with stuff like colorspaces and GL contexts. Glad you got it working! -- Christopher Wright [email protected]
