Hi Andrew

Right Mouse click on the Movie Loader patch. Change the Timebase setting to External. An Input called Patch Time is created. You can plug a stopwatch patch into the Patchtime input. See attached comp. (you will need to remap the movie location path to one of your own movies (drag and drop a movie onto the graph Editor)

in a best best case scenario, it would reside in the composite on it's frame one until it is triggered to play.
when it's done it returns to it's frame one where it waits for another trigger.
