I am using the UserBackdrops patch to build one of those "Please step out of the frame" composition for iChat and Photobooth. I am trying to get the foreground image only - just the "talking head" with a zero opacity background - so I can modify the it in several ways before combining it with a new background.
Unfortunately the output of UserBackdrops scraps away the alpha values. Feeding a fully transparent image into InputBackgroundImage results in an opaque grey background. I've looked into Backdrop.qtz and found "Image With Alpha", but I am not sure how to access it. Any tipps?
