Hello George, what is you scenario? Why do you need this?
Once I had a problem with evaluation order of custom plugin patches, so I attached a "blind" billboard patch to one of the output ports of that patch. "Blind" means I setup the billboard to render a single pixel outside the visible screen, so it has a minimal performance impact, but will force to evaluate the patch in question in first place. best, Achim Breidenbach Boinx Software On 08.05.2011, at 21:22, George Toledo wrote: > Is it possible to make an output port evaluate *without* hooking something to > it? > > Is it possible to have a kind of implied consumer that "attaches" itself to > every output port with a supposition that all outs get evaluated by the first > layer (or something that poses as the first layer for that moment), but > without actually manually hooking output ports to a patch? > > -- > George Toledo > gtole...@gmail.com > www.georgetoledo.com > > > _______________________________________________ > Do not post admin requests to the list.
