Thanks for the response Chris, I've got Darwin Streaming Server working with Quicktime Broadcaster at the moment, and I can view the stream in Quicktime using the rtsp url rtsp://[machine name].local/mystream.sdp. But when I try to open that using the Movie Importer in Quartz it just freezes and then crashes after a while. I have set the Movie Importer to Asynchronous to allow for streaming content, but it's still not loading the video.
In the future I want to use Wowza to encode the stream, but that's not as important as getting it working at all!
