Hello Ben,

there are some patches, that are considered as "unsafe" and therefor won't 
produce any output in some of Apples apps (e.g. the Finder starts a composition 
for displaying a single frame in the Finders file info but the composition 
isn't able to access anything from your system) So that nobody could generate a 
malicious composition to spy your system. And Video is one of those patches. 
But I don't know how those patches are treated in Keynote, thought.
