For us, QC is still a feasible solution. We've just rolled out an entire suite
of 32 interactive exhibits at the refreshed and updated British Music
Experience in Liverpool using Quartz Composer running on 10.12. Performance and
ease of development is still among the best of all the tools we use (which
include Unity, HTML/JS, various Adobe horror shows).

I wish we could have adopted Vuo but it just wasn't as streamlined for us, and
we have very specific scenarios we need solutions for, and the last time I
tried it (granted a while back) Vuo was more geared towards VJs rather than
museum exhibits.

Having stated my position however, I do believe Apple has bigger things to
worry about than killing off an obscure developer tool. The entire Mac platform
(hardware and software) is converging with iOS and it's inevitable that macOS
itself won't be what we all know and love. I give it 10 years max, possibly 5,
and we'll all have moved to iOS.

Yeah!
