I would love to see an openbsd, or some more hardened sys-firewall. There have been some community efforts maybe you can create one. we have minimal templates available now. I read about a unikernel someone made for qubes that looked interesting. Maybe you can create something. Qubes team is not very large and this is still way more secure imo then a traditional linux or windows os man.
