you use which identity.

On this point, the fact that you are entering your username+password on the website (because the "wrong" VM you're using doesn't have that cookie/ID on file) should be a strong cue that you may be in the wrong VM. Plus, Qubes is constantly displaying the VM name at the top of the window... you should be checking it whenever you start a new activity.

OTOH, robust whitelisting (taking third-party sites into account) in general would be a nice feature to have. But I'm thinking this needs to be a browser-level feature, not OS-level, because the problem is mostly specific to web browsing.
