Editing the ead.yml file so that the repository match happens before the origination match is one solution to the problem described above - identical repository and creator name in the same EAD file. In other words, the repository record apparently must be created first.
So, if an authority record has already been created then subsequently importing an EAD file with that name as the repository will not create a separate repository record. (This scenario does seem less likely, since normally if a repository is identified as the creator of a fonds/collection, it would be in that repository.)
