Right, let's go back to my statement. I said that they either
modified the source code (i.e., the old NTPv3/xntpd source code to
claim a version 4.x), or they made other changes (i.e., they took
NTPv4 source code and changed the name to be xntpd instead of ntpd).
That statement is still accurate. In this case, they appear to
have done the grave disservice to their customer of taking an NTPv4
codebase and calling the resulting executable "xntpd".
You have yet to prove any aspect of your claims. Instead, you
just go on and on spouting the same things over and over again,
without making any positive contribution to this issue.
Getting back to the original problem, Dr. Mills said that the
original lines being logged will not be found anywhere in our source
code. I trust him on that statement. If you can prove otherwise,
please feel free to do so.
Otherwise, please stop calling me a liar, and please stop calling
Dr. Mills a liar.
If you do have something useful to contribute to this matter,
please do so. Otherwise, please let someone else get a word in
edgewise, and try to actually be helpful.
