Hi Steve
I do have auth disabled (temporarily) on both broadcast server and
client. The output of the command `ifconfig hme0` is as follows:
hme0: flags=1000843<UP,BROADCAST,RUNNING,MULTICAST,IPv4> mtu 1500 index
2
        inet 172.16.1.217 netmask ffffff00 broadcast 172.16.1.255
