I do not understand the discrepancy between the ntpq output and the ntpdc
sysinfo output, but I really haven't thought about it all that much.
Version strings all around would be useful (ntpd, ntpq, ntpdc).

I still think that he could make a more convincing case that something
is wrong, or see that things are really okay, by running ntpd for thirty
minutes or more.
