I had one Red Hat Enterprise Linux 4 box lock up.  However, I have a
half dozen other boxes running the exact same software set (kernel and
all other packages) that worked just fine.

I've read that a number of people running Oracle RAC (not just Oracle)
had lock-ups and/or reboots.
