On "Hummin' to Myself," her first new studio recording in nearly five
years, Linda Ronstandt chose to sing 11 of the great American song

4. QuickTime Showcase

Photographers participating in the World Wide Panorama project have
outdone themselves again, creating 193 QuickTime VR panoramas for the
solstice on December 17-21, 2004. For the fourth event in the series,
the group chose to capture images of places across the globe that
represent the theme of "Sanctuary."

Covering all the continents except Antarctica, participants from 38
countries explore their own definition of "sanctuary" with images of
cozy cafes, home sweet home, snowy forests, farmhouses, places of
worship, famous landmarks, shelters and even a car showroom.

5. Movie Trailers

Beautiful and deadly assassin Elektra Natchios (Jennifer Garner,
"Alias") possesses the mystical power of "kimagure"--a limited ability
to see the future. After a near-death experience, Elektra is revived by
the Order of the Hand, a group of assassins who helped train her.

Her latest assignment for the Order requires her to kill a man, Mark
Miller (Goran Visnijic, "ER"), and his 13-year-old daughter, Abby
(Kristin Prout). Elektra falls in love with Mark, forcing her to make a
decision that could take her life in a whole new direction or destroy her.

Based on the Marvel Comics Books character, "Elektra" opens in theaters
