Ed: M is in my database. If you have a problem with the change from FD to M you may wish to talk to Macy, Inc they caused this change not Quotes Plus. I dare say that you will find the same problem if you check Yahoo Data or any other data source.

It is clear now that a user can impossibly prepare for this other than to make a backup of the database every day in some other format and then afterwards try to figure out what changes in the database have been made and reconstruct. Has this been discussed on this board? QP makes changes without informing their customers. I never received any notice that there is a change in policy. It was just there because apparently there is a majority of users who want this. How has this majority been measured. Seems to me that when designing trading systems one does not want symbols to suddenly disappear. I guess the majority of QP users is not using the data to design systems.
