Hi Earl -

The WSJ volume appears to be the NYSE only volume. We have the NYSE
volume
that includes all trades on and off of the NYSE, on Nasdaq, Arca etc.

The WSJ numbers are not compatible with our historical numbers. I
have yet
another source for these numbers which appear close to the NYSE
listed
volume on their front page - http://www.nyse.com/

Here's the data from a differrent source whiich include NYSE listed
volume
on all exchanges

- <exchdata>
- <nyse highs="13" lows="370">
  <issues advance="457" decline="2724" unchanged="70" />
  <shares advance="525152500" decline="5008652100"
unchanged="21180700" />
  </nyse>
- <nasdaq highs="33" lows="245">
  <issues advance="700" decline="2326" unchanged="118" />
  <shares advance="582313300" decline="2256543800"
unchanged="25718400" />
  </nasdaq>
- <amex highs="18" lows="317">
  <issues advance="339" decline="1187" unchanged="122" />
  <shares advance="164648800" decline="1372356600"
unchanged="17752400" />
  </amex>
- <otcbb highs="7" lows="50">

  <shares advance="158627600" decline="218555000"
unchanged="65001900" />
  </otcbb>
  </exchdata>

I'll switch to this source asap.

Best regards
