After at least two months of QWS not playing anything, I finally figured out
what the problem was, and fixed it. But ever since I started using QWS, I
noticed this strange volume problem which drives me bonkers. First, changing
the volume, it doesn't matter what kind of volume changing tool I'm using, but
sometimes the volumes of the notes that were modified were followed about 20
ticks later by the same note. I've also seen those modified notes have there
lengths modified, sometimes going up past four measures or more when they were
originally only about 48-192 ticks. Nothing strange like this happens when
changing other values, or even changing the track volume in the track
properties. Doing a channel split seems to make it happen more, but without
splitting the channels, with files outside QWS, all tracks are bundled into
one. Maybe it's the type of midi file and all I have to do is resave with
another filetype before splitting channels or changing the volumes of notes?
