Hi all: I have an old Ensoniq TS-12 from 1994. I have some sequences on it's internal sequencer that I would like to import into QWS, so that I can add some additional tracks using my Yamaha Motif XS and some softsynths. As this is a very odd sequencer, there are only 12 channels available for linear tracks, and 12 more for non-linear tracks. It is 12-part multi-tempral unless it is used in GM mode, at which point you get the full 16 midi channels available. The drawback, of course, is that GM mode only gives you access to some very slimmed-down GM sounds, and no access to the other soundbanks. Most of the sounds I use have either been imported from TS-12 program disks, or created by me. Most of my TS-12 sequences have 8 to 10 tracks.
I'm wondering what the easiest approach would be for importing these sequences to QWS?
