AT last I got a keyboard. So now I am looking for nice soft synths to
control from it. I was using soundfonts and SynthFont, but I've noticed some
misbehaviour in it, for instance it disregards pitchbend completely except
before a key press, which is a pity since you can't vary the key once it is
sounding. So I'm wondering what do you use as the synth part of your setups,
to make the actual sound. In particular what do you use to play soundfonts?
Any other recommendation would be appreciated too.
As a little aside, my keyboard has some sequencer buttons that are meant to
control the sequencer program, but I haven't managed to get qws to work with
them. Would there be a way to do this, or would it be easy to include as a
feature? My feeling is it wouldn't be too difficult since something similar
is already available, it's just that these buttons are probably sending
different midi events.
