My wife looked at the graphic, and said it just looks like a cable. She
also noticed the price reduction to $6, which I had simply missed.
So, I'll give this low budget plan a try and see what happens!
BTW, this old keyboard I keep referring to actually has 2 ports. I have
2-10' cables, so I know there are 2 ports. It occurred to me that perhaps
one is in, and other is out. If this keyboard simply had an out port,
wouldn't I only have used 1 cable (to connect to the midi card in the pc)?

It should work fine. If you already have a midi keyboard I'd at least go
that way unless you feel you need a more modern one for some reason.
