As long as we are reminiscing a bit, I'll join the no-licence list
members, from Copenhagen, Denmark. I have benefited enormously from the
assembled wisdom of this group over many decades, having got my first R390A
in 1984.

What with one thing and another, I have reduced the number of rx's from 65
to below 20. And pushing 77 years of age, they don't get any lighter
either. But I still have a couple of R390A's (Teledyne and EAC), a 51J-4, a
51-S, a Hammarlund SP-600 and an HQ-180A , and a Hallicrafters SX-42 (my
own age exactly, but its design is better). Rest is newer stuff.

I am more or less neutral towards the change discussed, but will certainly
cough up dollars if needed. And here is wishing a long life to the untiring
sages of the R390 list. You know who you are :-)

Best,

Clemens S.Ostergaard
Copenhagen
