I also have the problem trying to start rattle Windows 7 32-bit R 2.12.0
When I try library(rattle) I get an error message "The procedure entry point deflateSetHeader could not be located in the dynamic link library zilb1.dll" I hit OK and it prompts me to install GTK+ again.
