Hi listers,
I am relatively new to R. I am trying to fit an HLM model in R using lme
function. I'm more of an HLM user, so I have some trouble getting things
done in R. So far no problems, but...
(1)
I would like to get SE estimates and null hypothesis tests for random
effects. How can this be done? I'm reproducing the work of Singer
(http://www.gse.harvard.edu/~faculty/singer/) in order to tranfer from HLM
to R. However she doesn't offer a way to do it.
(2)
My second question is about the possibility of specifying a crossclasified
HLM model as described in Bryk and Raudenbush. Does lme function support
that?
