Well, I too would like to be able to set buffered output to false for Rgui Windows without user intervention. Maybe it could be set via the Edit -> Gui Preferences so that it can be saved and set at startup. The GUI Preferences are part of the interface and not the standard language definition right?...so that seems to be a good spot to set something like that.
