Hi everyone

Instats is excited to offer a 4-day seminar, Predicting Network Structure with
Hypergraphs
<https://instats.org/seminar/predicting-network-structure-with-hyperg>,
livestreaming September 22–25 and led by Professor Moses Boudourides from
Northwestern University’s Data Science Graduate Program. Hypergraphs extend
traditional network analysis by allowing edges to link any number of nodes,
capturing team-level, co-exposure, and other group interactions in a single
structure. Across four days, participants will explore core concepts and
state-of-the-art methods for hyperlink prediction, including similarity-based
heuristics, word-embedding techniques, deep learning models such as Hypergraph
Neural Networks, and spectral approaches like CHESHIRE. The workshop is
entirely non-coding and designed for PhD students, academics, and researchers
eager to forecast collective processes such as contagion, collaboration, and
community formation in fields ranging from social networks and digital
humanities to bioinformatics, finance, and transportation. By the end,
attendees will be equipped to reconstruct hypergraphs, reveal hidden
hyperedges, and perform temporal forecasts, gaining a powerful new toolkit for
tackling complex, multi-node phenomena in their own research.

Sign up today

secure your spot, and share this opportunity with colleagues and students who
might benefit!

Best wishes
