This five-day course offers a comprehensive introduction to key concepts and
analytical methods in population genomics. The program combines lectures with
hands-on practical sessions each day, enabling participants to apply techniques
directly to real datasets.

Topics covered include:

• Management of short-read sequencing data: QC, trimming, mapping, SNP calling
• Population structure and introgression
• Demographic inference and model comparison
• Genome scans for association and selection (GWAS, GEA, selective sweeps)
• Landscape genomics and spatial analyses

The course is intended for graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, and
scientists with a basic background in genetics/genomics and some familiarity
with UNIX command line tools and R.
