Thank you everyone for your input. It is precisely all of this confusion/disagreement/incompatibilities that led me to post my query.
I have just tried everything that has been suggested, and will try to summarize it a little. One issue is relative quality of images. How good is good enough? Maybe a 5-R rating will be assigned to the perfect solution ;-).
