After she has won the Thorndon . . . now @ a very short $5. However,
there's the mile on the last day of the Ellerslie carnival to win
first.
Unfortunately, investments of this nature are few and far between,
but they are there for us patient punters. COG HILL was another, but
I left him alone at the ridiculous odds he started at. Pity there
was no Final Field market on this event. He would've been at least
$2.50 surely.
There are no such opportunities at Ellerslie today, so it's a
viewing meeting only for me. The weather is overcast, with an odd
shower possible, but I predict it'll remain mainly dry.
Famous last words . . . it looks very murky around the Sky Tower,
which I can see from my study window. It may pay to keep one eye on
the rain radar before investing in advance.
