I don't mind the Maidens. I reckon they are often the best races to bet
on. If you can find an excellent horse, the chances of it winning tends
closer to 100% if the other horses are no hopers, which they quite often
are.
Also, don't pay any attention to Steve Davis when he goes on about a
horse having its 15th start in a maiden etc. These types throw up some
good divvies. And if they are the best horse in the race, what does it
matter if they've had 2 starts or 20.
Just speaking from a punting point of view.
