Hi - Yes I remember Grey Way too, especially his battles with Copper
Belt here in the Central. I've been reading Lance O'Sullivans book
(got it for Christmas). I've enjoyed it a lot. I've always admired
Lance and to relive some of those magical moments in his book has
been great. Horlicks, Mr Tiz, Surfers Paradise and Waverley Stars
battle against Bonecrusher in the Cox Plate. Wow - those were the
days.

Since Lance took up training I've hoped that he can bring back some
of those days. I think he'll do well as a trainer. He has the
attitude, skills and ability. More importantly I think he has the
right owners to back him.

Did you see how low Calveens price got during the day - I tuned in
about 20 or 30 minutes before start time and she was $1:80 for a win
on the tote!!!! Sheer madness. I decided that under handicap
conditions and a field of 18 starters - anything under $3 wasn't
worth the risk.

A horse I noted over the carnival (and none of you have said
anything) was Tui Song - I thought it's effort on Boxing Bay was very
good and on New Years day a great effort with the weight on that
sticky track.

Must off

Regards
Trevor
