I am guessing that his notebook is running a newer version of XP? M$ has
been threatening to eliminate support for M$DOS for some time now, looks
like it is finally happening? Right back in the Win95 days they tried to
incorporate DOS and Explorer into the Windoze code, but got their hands
slapped in the US of A.

Peter, you might have to redesign the program now to bring it up to some
sort of Windows support. After all, DOS has been around for yonks now
(late 80s???) and M$ would like us all to keep up with the Jones's (or
at least the Gates's) and keep upgrading to the latest versions of
Windoze every year, not use something from the 80s, even if it DOES work
better and faster than their latest rubbish!

Bye for now,
Terry (still using Win98, just on principle!)
