I've had a lot of success using Dreamhost. Its a discount hosting
service so you're getting what you pay for. There have been some
unfortunate downtime but in my opinion, its the best option until you're
up to the volumes that warrant something like slicehost
(http://www.slicehost.com/). Regardless, I would use Google for the
email (which is easy to do with Dreamhost); that way if you move hosts,
your email doesn't move.
