http://github.com/binarylogic/searchlogic looks very interesting, it looks you can use it to chain searches on the columns in the page table; exactly what I need.
I would be interested in making contact with any extension developers interested in either baking searchlogic into a blank radiant site or even taking it a basic extension. I would only need it developed to the most basic workable stage, e.g. an example tag and search results page.
