A person connecting using Windows 2000 produces this type of PasswordLog
message. I haven't dug into it enough to find out why, but I know that it
does do it.

I see the same messages in my password logfile as well. I've also wondered
what is going on.
Hello,
Speaking of the password logfile. I'm getting these entries, and I'm
curious as to what is meant by UNKNOWN. If it's UNKNOWN then how can
the user be authenticated?

Thank you,
