(RADIATOR) Newbie Help

I have just installed Radiator on my BSDI box and setup a very simple proxy configuration.  Using the AuthBy RADIUS feature in the cfg file will send the correct username but the password is nothing but garbage.  I have downloaded the latest Radius.pm and radiusd files BUT I am completely stumped at why it is sending over garaged passwords.  I have the correct secret and my radiator box is listed in the clients file on the remote radius server.  Any ideas?   Thanks, Brian Harper
