I'm trying to pass DNS server information from my radius server to a client (it's a pppoe client, we don't have complete control over the RedBack unit that the telco uses).
For our dial-up customers, the modem chassis will provide DNS server info, but for our DSL customers who use pppoe, we would like to provide DNS info. I've read through the radiator documentation, and in section 13.2.8 it says that I can pass any other attribute defined in your dictionary. OK, so my dictionary lists a vendor specific attribute of: VENDORATTR 429 Primary_DNS_Server 0x900f ipaddr However, if I understand this correctly the above attribute is specific for USR equipment, and not cisco (which is apparently what the RedBack units use). My question is how can I do this for a cisco attribute. I can't find a corresponding entry in the dictionary.cisco file, nor can I find mention of it on the Net. Thanks in advance. === Archive at http://www.open.com.au/archives/radiator/ Announcements on [EMAIL PROTECTED] To unsubscribe, email '[EMAIL PROTECTED]' with 'unsubscribe radiator' in the body of the message.
