DYSLEXIC POSTS: REBUTTAL BEFORE ARTICLE PROPER...We are only now learning about
true cost of socialized medicine-to-be. We could have truly reduced the cost of
health care for Americans and we could have insured more Americans then under
Obama Plan if we: A) Allowed small- and medium-sized businesses to form
health associations and B) Allowed health-care provider's compete in more then
one state and C) Reigned in trial lawyers (but lib dems are in their pocket).
Instead cost of health care will rise and we will loose our number one
position in medical technology and med R & D. Over three hundred new federal
bureaucracies will be created with fed gov lawyers and accountants making
medical decisions for you instead of you and your doctor. Medicare
and Medicaid are hundreds of billions of dollars in debt and are
fraught with tens of billions in fraud. Fed gov will control 'private'
health insurance companies in four years, thereby, creating the illusion that
we don't have socialized medicine. They will serve as mere fronts while fed
gov will control all of health care. And, rightly so, after all, they've done
an outstanding job with just M & M!
ON SELLING OUT...Stupak and other so-called
pro-life dems negated their principals at the alter of Obama, Polusi and
President George Soros. Hyde Amendment passed in '70's allowed modest
funding/narrowly- defined (rape, incest, mother's life in jeopardy) fed
involvement with abortion. Loophole in law could enable a state to
receive moderate to large-scale funding broadly defined (abortion on demand).
Obama gave Stupak and others his word - if you believe that we have a
no longer-used Constitution for sale! Plus: he signed an executive order
banning it but not covering high-risk pool health plans. Further, as members of
Congress aren't they cognizant of two facts: 1) Congress can pass a law
which trumps an E.O. and 2) A junior-president can rescind his E.O.s
at any time and his successor can undo E.O.s of predecessor. U.S.
