Huh?  This person clearly doesn't live in California.

As far as I can tell, the Left was just as terrified of Bush destroying the 
Constitution as the Right is of Obama now.  Anyone remember the Patriot Act?

I personally think both fears are vastly overblown, though they contain a few 
grains of truth.  Still, it irks me when journalists appear to ignore half the 
equation.
