For sure, I wanted the group to know about the Amendment, but
it was sent individually, not to RC.org. That was so it would
be taken as independent,  and not requiring an OK
or even tacit consent.
 
Reaction to it has been "high standard deviation," mostly
you love it or hate it, not many who are in between.
 
Anyway, I have no plans to change even one word,
at least as far as substance goes. These are my convictions,
not some sort of result of various compromises. After all,
while the idea doesn't seem to ever "take,"  ( nah, it can't be true ,  etc 
)
the Qur'an wants me dead for my beliefs, therefore I want Islam to
be eliminated from the face of the Earth. 
 
That's only fair.
