Maybe,  but it will not work.  I've met a lot of his supporters here in NH.

Can't help but think that some conservatives  are going to try to turn
Ron Paul into a Goldwater in hopes that they get a  Reagan out of it in
a few years.  The Goldwater nomination certainly  energized the
conservative base and flushed the moderates out of the  Republican
party, or so William F. Buckley's story went.
