I'm not sure why no-one ( apparently ) is getting the point.
Newt is highly vulnerable in all kinds of ways and for high rollers
to allow his campaign to flourish at this late stage is ludicrous.
Did you read "Gingrich surges in the polls...there's just a slight
problem" ?

He has other problems, for sure, like a large kickback from Fannie /
Freddie,
but there also is the troubles he has with myself, including Newt's
collusion
with Toffler involving a serious cover-up.

I mean, c'mon, when Bush was found to have been drinking in college
and driving, that petty stuff became a major news flap. Carter admitted
to lusting after Playboy bunnies and that was another big stink.
The stuff involving Newt, discussed in "slight problem" is
more serious than that kind of thing by orders of magnitude.

Who's ahead in the horse race only interests me in terms to
potential news value and what, if things break, can be done
with the resulting leverage that may become available.

Gotta be honest: Huntman's my guy.

His campaign has been disastrous, but he has the best record and
experience of any candidate in this race.
